We are back with a brand new episode filled to the brim with Synthwave goodness! These songs span a 23-year period, 2003 straight through to earlier this year. Over here at Dives, we love this genre, and I hope to convert you all to the glories these songs offer. This week's episode is crammed full with music between the years 1981 and 2015, with 90% of the material between 1983 & 1990, the Heartland sweet spot in my opinion. We are back with a new show for your ears to enjoy. This episode is filled with music from the last five decades that lean heavily on the Rolling Stones sound. Particularly, 1968 through 1981. There are a lot of Dives regulars to satisfy, and as for the other artists, I hope I weaved them in and out to the point that all the puzzle pieces fit. Why it's taken me this long to circle back is a mystery, but here it is nonetheless. In this episode, you'll hear 80s pop, Yacht Rock, Sophistipop, early 80s Crossover Country, and of course, a huge helping of WestCoast. You can say this show is a Transatlantic Affair as the Scottlight Set in hour two is curated in Florida, and the rest of the show is curated, recorded, and produced here in the Czech Republic. To that end, both Mags & Scott have really brought the goods with their respective sets, as they do every episode here on Dives.The episode you're about to listen to is an extension of last Dive, AOR & Melodic Rock, with a strong slant towards Hi-Tech production and instrumentation. After seven months away, I’m thrilled to be back in Prague—home to Magdalena, my beautiful wife-to-be, and a welcoming new side of the family. At the same time, I’m excited to refocus on curating and creating fresh episodes of Dives for your ears to enjoy.
