This is the fixed version of the newest Dives. Somehow, the final third of the show didn't make the trip over to Podbean. I promise you it's here now. My apologies. 👊
The DeepDives team is back with a WestCoast-ish episode for your ears to enjoy. This is the third such episode in this series and the first since 2024. Why it's taken me this long to circle back is a mystery, but here it is nonetheless. In this episode, you'll hear 80s pop, Yacht Rock, Sophistipop, early 80s Crossover Country, and of course, a huge helping of WestCoast. I hope you enjoy this music as much as we enjoyed serving it up. We'll see you in a couple of weeks for a "Like A Rolling Stone" Dive. 🤘👊

The DeepDives team is back with a brand new episode for your ears to enjoy. You can say this show is a Transatlantic Affair as the Scottlight Set in hour two is curated in Florida, and the rest of the show is curated, recorded, and produced here in the Czech Republic. To that end, both Mags & Scott have really brought the goods with their respective sets, as they do every episode here on Dives. The episode you're about to listen to is an extension of last Dive, AOR & Melodic Rock, with a strong slant towards Hi-Tech production and instrumentation. The years are 1980 through 1993. I hope you enjoy the three-plus hours of music, and we'll be back in a couple of weeks with a WestCoast-ish Dive. Until then, take care, everybody! 🤘👊

After seven months away, I’m thrilled to be back in Prague—home to Magdalena, my beautiful wife-to-be, and a welcoming new side of the family. At the same time, I’m excited to refocus on curating and creating fresh episodes of Dives for your ears to enjoy.
I started the curation process on the plane across the Atlantic and finished it last week outside in our lovely garden. The episode you're about to hear is filled with Hi-Tech AOR & Melodic Rock from 1980 through 1994.
I'll be back every two weeks, releasing a brand-new episode for you to take along on your travels. Expect new episodes every other Wednesday/Thursday-ish.
Thank you for continuing to listen—take care, everyone! 👊🤘

I've forgotten just how much work goes into making these shows! 😁
This will be the last retro Dive for the far foreseeable future. Starting next week, I'll put out a new show every other week. That’s a promise. I already have the next Dive curated and sequenced. Look for it by Wednesday or Thursday.
In the meantime, enjoy this episode of Hi-Tech AOR from six years ago. 🤘👊

Greetings from the Czech Republic & the beautiful city of Prague. This, for all intents and purposes, should be my last “Retro Dive” for the foreseeable future. I'll be working this week on a brand new episode for your ears to enjoy. I am so looking forward to curating again. I miss it quite a bit and I hope you do too.I'll see you later this week with a show that should scratch all of our AOR & Melodic Rock itches. Until then, enjoy this 80’s Hi-Tech leaning Dive. 🤘👊

Here is one of the last "Retro" Dives episodes before my move to Prague next week. For this Dive, I've chosen an episode from way back in January of 2021. It kicks off with my favorite Quiet Riot song from easily my favorite Quiet Riot album, 1986's QRIII. I have one, maybe two, more "Retro" Dives before I start laying down brand-new episodes. This is most definitely an itch I can't wait to scratch. I'll see you next week, my friends. 🤘👊

For this week's retro escape, I've chosen an episode from the tail end of the year 2021. These are definitely songs you know, probably like the back of your hand. While most of my episodes explore the out-of-the-way watering holes, this one is like going to the beach. Going to the beach with a helluva curated selection of 80's AOR, Melodic Rock, Hi-Tech, Westcoast, and Pop to enjoy.
As far as my move to Prague is concerned, I'm getting packed and ready as I ever will be. I have less than two weeks left here in the States. 🫨
I hope you enjoy this different kind of Dive, and I'll see you back here next week for another blast from the Dives past! 👊🤘

As my time here in Tampa grows short, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to complete the voiceovers I wanted to record for these next few shows. As I'm sending over my equipment next week, I've had to bank the next few weeks' shows until my first Dive in June, and recording four or five voiceovers just isn't feasible at the moment. Please accept my apologies, and I do hope you enjoy these next few dips into my musical past.
This show you're about to hear is a different little beast. It was a Monday Mix Tape for BoomRadio back in 2020. As it was a special stand-alone show, I decided to do a "Not So Deep" Dive into the music of the 80's via covers. Enjoy, my friends, and I'll see you next week for another trip down memory lane. 🤘👊

Tuesday Apr 28, 2026

Welcome, my friends. I'm back with a retro episode from November of 2020. This episode marked my first time back behind the mic with BoomRadio💥💣after a short stint with Radioactive Radio. Listening to this Dive over the weekend while I worked on my move to Prague was an absolute joy for my ears, and I hope it's the same for yours. Have a great week, and I'll be back in seven-ish with another retro Dive. I can't wait to record my first brand-new episode sometime in the first half of June! 🤘👊

What a week it has been, and it's only just started. I felt inspired this week to make my first "New" Dive in a good couple of months. However, there is a catch...I didn't have time to create an intro and...wait for it...it's a very niche episode...Bruce Springsteen covering the global jukebox. Everything from Van Halen to The Clash. From The Temptations to AC/DC.  From Elvis (Presley) to Creedence Clearwater Revival. From The Bee Gees to Prince. From Glen Campbell to David Bowie. I could go on and on, but I imagine you already get the picture. For good measure, I've salt-and-peppered in some of the songs he wrote for other artists who then went on to have huge hits with them themselves. I hope you enjoy another one of my "Off the Beaten Path" Dives. Take care, my friends, and I'll see you next week for another show. More than likely, it's going to be an archival episode. I'm getting down to the nitty and the gritty. I leave for Prague in five weeks. 👊🤘
